Champion Baptist College has been blessed with an administration that not only has a zeal for God but also a passion for academic excellence. You will find that our administrators have decades of experience that they bring together collectively to make Champion an exceptional educational and spiritual experience.
Dr. Eric Capaci - Chancellor
The ministry and life of Dr. Eric Capaci have truly seen the hand of God. Saved at the age of thirteen, God has allowed Dr. Capaci to accomplish much for His kingdom. Dr. Capaci is known for his zeal, enthusiasm, and love for people. Under his leadership, Champion Baptist College will further equip today's young people with the tools necessary to lead tomorrow's generation.
Dr. Capaci also pastors Gospel Light Baptist Church in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
By His grace, Gospel Light has steadily grown to a ministry with over 1,400 in attendance each week. God has also used Dr. Capaci to provide a wide array of outreach ministries within our community.
Dr. Francis Grubbs - President
Dr. Francis W. Grubbs has been appointed President of Champion Baptist College, and he brings to the College rich experience in pastoral leadership and church growth, secondary Christian education and higher education administration.
Mr. Clint Fredericks - Vice President of Student Relations
Mr. Clint Fredericks oversees the admissions and student realations offices. In addition, he teaches a myriad of classes and oversees our athletic department, which includes intramural sports and intercollegiate sports. Entering his fourth year as the men’s basketball coach, the Tigers have qualified for the ACCA national tournament the past three years, making two final-four
appearances and winning a national championship in 2007.
Dr. John Smith- Academic Dean
Dr. John Smith serves as the Assistant Academic Dean of Champion Baptist College. His primary duties involve overseeing student academic progress, course development, and veterans’ certification. He has served in Christian college education for nineteen years. Currently, Dr. Smith teaches in the Bible department.
Mr. John Johnson - Dean of Students
As Dean of Students at Champion Baptist College, John Johnson oversees the student services offered by the Dean of Men, Dean of Women, and Student Ministry offices. He also teaches Bible, Baptist History, and science courses. Brother Johnson has served on staff at Gospel Light Baptist Church for eleven years and taught in Gospel Light Baptist School for eight years.
