How did you know that Champion was right for you? After taking a trip to visit the college, I noticed the strong emphasis on the Bible and on preaching. Through prayer, parents, and pastor, God has led me here to train for the ministry.
Who has had the biggest influence in your life since you’ve been here, and why?Dr. Judson Mitchell. His wisdom and godly example have influenced me in more ways than I could have imagined. His classes have been extremely beneficial, and I look forward to all the things I can learn from him in the future.
What things have you learned from being a member of the Tiger’s basketball team?
I’ve learned that you have to work harder and smarter; it’s not about individual ability, it’s about teamwork.
What is the most exciting thing about Champion? 11:35a.m. – Chapel! Great preaching, singing, and praying. You just can’t beat it!
If you had to describe Champion to someone who had never been here before, what would you say?There is a great atmosphere here. This is a ministry that is growing rapidly, yet still gives personal attention to the needs of an individual. The spirit here is very alive; it’s like one big family!
