What type of school did you attend (public, home school, or private) and how do you think this helped prepare you for Bible College?
I attended a Christian school, where I received good, foundational principles that helped prepare me for my college education. I also began to develop my love for God while enrolled in a Christian school, and actually heard about Champion when Dr. Capaci came and spoke in my high school chapel. All of these factors contributed to preparing me for Bible College, and if it weren’t for the Christian school, I probably wouldn’t be here.

How would you describe the overall attitude of the student body?
Contagious! The students here easily pick up on Preacher’s exuberant attitude and it seems to spread quickly, even to the newest student.

What is the best thing about college life?
I’d say the best thing about college life is the hands-on ministry experience that you get to be apart of, and the life-long friendships you make while you’re here. There’s nothing like it!)

Who has had the biggest impact on your life since you arrived?
It’s impossible to narrow it down to just one person, but probably Dr. Mitchell. He has completely changed my view on teaching; he opened my eyes to the powerful influence one person can have. He’s also inspired me to one day raise a Godly family for the Lord.

How would you suggest preparing for Bible College?
Develop good time-management and studying habits now. And don’t wait until you come to college to start having a genuine walk with God. Draw close to Him now, and He will direct your path!
