What do you appreciate most about Champion?
I appreciate how personable the staff and faculty are here at Champion. They always take time to tell me they love me and they are praying for me.
Have you met other students that are enthusiastic about the ministry?
Yes, the spirit on campus is exciting and thriving.
What did your parents think about your attending a Bible college?
They were very supportive. Each of them has been a tremendous encouragement to me.
And have they been able to help you pay for college?
Yes. I have been privileged enough to have parents that not only support me spiritually but also financially throughout my college experience.
With school, work, and other various activities, how do you, personally, make time for God?
By prioritizing my daily activities. It’s all about balancing your time. You must feed yourself spiritually before you feed yourself physically.
Did it take some time to adjust to college?
With every new experience, adjustments must be made. Fortunately, my home church, Heritage Baptist, prepared me well for this next stage of my life.
Was college a big adjustment after being in a private school?
No, it was a fairly easy transition after attending a Christian school most of my life.
Have you made some good friends on campus?
Definitely. Some of the very best friends I have are my fellow classmates and staff members.
Do you have any siblings?
Yes, I have two wonderful older brothers, Chris and Geof, and also one wonderful younger sister, Alicia.
Would you recommend Champion to others and why?
Absolutely. There is no place like this place any where in the world. Because of the family atmosphere of our college, you are seen as an individual…not just a number. Champion is the place to be…don’t miss out!
