Has Champion lived up to your expectations?
Definitely. The atmosphere was more exciting, the preaching was more encouraging, and the opportunities to minister were much more than what I had originally expected.

As a transfer student, how did you decide on CBC?
I basically had a change of heart. The Lord began to work in my life about what He wanted me to do, instead of me pursuing my own ambitions.

Do you have any siblings?
Yes. I have three younger brothers, Garrett, Brandon, and Jordan, and one younger sister, Amy.

Are any of them considering Champion?
Yes, two of them are currently considering coming to Champion in the future, and they have all visited here at least once.

Have you taken any Missions trips?
Yes. I have been to six different countries including: Mexico, Canada, Holland, Germany, Austria, and the Czech Republic.

And what have you learned about Missions so far?
Mostly, that it’s not just the missionary’s responsibility to help evangelize the world, but it is every Christian’s responsibility to get involved and spread the Gospel…it’s a team effort.

Do you have any hobbies?
I like any kind of outdoor activities, swimming, hanging out with friends, and traveling.

What do you especially appreciate about Champion?
Probably the “open-door” policy that the teachers and faculty members have with each student. I especially appreciate how the teachers are involved in our personal lives.

What kind of personal training have the faculty and staff given you?
They have given me the opportunity to be involved in several different types of ministries, and I’ve also had the privilege to be counseled and personally mentored by them.

What would you say to a student considering Champion?
I would say that you need to prayerfully consider what the Lord’s will is for your life before considering Champion, because true champions are serious about and dedicated to serving the Lord.
