Coaching Staff Profiles
Clint Fredericks - Head Coach
Coach Fredericks, like many other coaches, has worked his way up to the collegiate level of coaching. Starting as a junior high basketball coach at North Valley Baptist School in Santa Clara, California, he was able to move up to the junior-varsity and varsity level as an assistant. In 2001, he helped Ryan Thompson establish the basketball program at Golden State Baptist College, also in Santa Clara, California, where they became runner-up for the 2004 USCAA National Championship. In 2005, Coach Fredericks moved to Hot Springs, Arkansas, to start yet another basketball program for the brand new Champion Baptist College. In the team's first two years, they have qualified to participate in the ACCA National Tournament, winning the national championship in 2007 in Cinderella fashion.
Brett Capaci - Assistant Coach
As the executive vice-president of Champion Baptist College, Coach Capaci has always had a love for the game of basketball. Though this is his third year as an assistant, he has had over a decade of success at the high school level, coaching in North Carolina and now at Gospel Light Baptist School in Hot Springs, Arkansas, where the Lions have won back-to-back state championships.
Aaron Weido - Assistant Coach
Coach Weido is a former player for the Tigers; he is now in his first year as an assistant coach. His passion for the game and his recent experience as a player will be a vital asset to this program.
Zack Cain - Assistant Coach
Coach Cain, also in his first year as an assistant, is a graduate of Champion Baptist College. His great working relationship with Coach Fredericks was established back in their days at Golden State Baptist College. Zack greatly understands the philosophy of Tiger Basketball.
